Former President of Cote Côte D’Ivoire Henri Konan Bédié Visits Asantehene At Manhyia Palace

His Excellency Henri Konan Bédié of Côte D’Ivoire on Tuesday 13 October, 2020 lead a delegation to payed a courtesy visit to Asantehene Otomfuo Nana Osei II at Manhyia Palace, Kumasi.
At the center of the official visit was a private discussion between His Majesty and His Excellency on mutually beneficial issues.
His Excellency Henri Konan Bédié was President of Côte d’Ivoire from 1993 to 1999, and he is currently the President of the Democratic Party of Côte d’Ivoire – African Democratic Rally (PDCI-RDA).
He and his people trace their root to Nsuta in the Ashanti Region and Asantehene is regarded as their overlord and they owe allegiance to the Golden Stool.
